OOTFA scholarships help members pay for music instruction, workshops and camps. Scholarships are funded by donations.
How to Apply
Check with your district first. Some districts have their own scholarship funds and applications. If your district has no funds available, apply for a State scholarship. You can’t request State and District scholarships for the same fee.
State Scholarship
- Any OOTFA member of any age may apply for a scholarship to cover tuition.
- State scholarships cover up to 50% of the instructor’s fee.
- Preference goes to workshops, including online instruction.
- The lessons, class or workshop must be approved by the Scholarship Committee before they take place.
- Your District Chair signs the application. Send the completed form to the OOTFA State Vice President.
